Booking & Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend your booked session and wish to reschedule, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice by emailing your chosen centre at info@floatscotland.co.uk. Please note that we operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy, and our booking system is automated.
⚠️ Bookings made within 24 hours of the appointment time are strictly non-refundable and cannot be moved or cancelled under any circumstances.
If you have purchased a package of float sessions and fail to attend a booked session without providing the required notice, that session will be deducted from your package.
If you are running late for your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Sessions cannot be extended beyond the scheduled end time, and you will only receive the remaining time of your booking.
If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show, and you will lose your Float credit without the option to reschedule.
Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will also result in the loss of your Float credit and no option to reschedule.
⚠️ IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING By making a booking with Float Scotland, you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms, including our Health & Safety Guidance and Waiver. If you have any medical conditions or are undergoing treatment, you must seek appropriate medical advice before attending.
Refunds
A refund may be offered to the purchaser within 14 days of purchasing a float session/s.
A refund can only be issued if the float session/s hasn’t been used.
Gift Vouchers and Float Family sessions are non-refundable
All float sessions are considered complete once the room has been used for 20 minutes or more. As the full service has been provided, no refunds will be issued in these circumstances. In the event of any concerns during a session, a complimentary credit may be offered at the discretion of management.
Gift Vouchers
🎁 Gift Voucher Policy
Thank you for choosing our services. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before purchasing or using a gift voucher from us.
1. Service-Specific Use
Our gift vouchers are valid only for the specific service stated at the time of purchase and printed on the voucher. Vouchers cannot be transferred or redeemed against any other services or products.
2. Validity Period
Our vouchers have no expiry from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Expiry dates are clearly noted at time of purchase for any special offer vouchers. Vouchers cannot be used after the expiry date.
3. Booking & Availability
Voucher holders must book in advance and are subject to appointment availability. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred time.
4. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other services. They are also non-transferable and can only be used by the individual named on the voucher (if named).
5. Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Please treat your voucher like cash. Lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers will not be replaced.
6. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment made using a voucher, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in the voucher being voided.
7. Partial Use
If the value of the service is less than the value of the voucher, no change or credit will be given. If the value of the service exceeds the voucher value, the balance must be paid by the customer.
Voucher location use may be changed at the discretion of the company however the service purchased will remain the same.
If a service credit from a limited package has been transferred to a Gift Card, these Gift Vouchers will have an expiry date so please be mindful of this.
Please be aware of our operating times for Floats and Therapies/Massage - check the booking page to see available slots as these can change.
Our Therapy room is open weekdays only, however we can sometimes accommodate times at the weekend or outwith our normal availability by prior arrangement. Just give us a call - 01506 639 489.

Service Credit Usage Policy
Service credits are a flexible way to access our services. Please read the following terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and transparent experience.
1. Service-Specific Use
Service credits are valid only for the specific service for which they were purchased. Credits cannot be transferred or applied to other services or products.
2. No Expiry
Service credits do not expire and may be used at any time, subject to availability.
3. Refunds
Refunds for unused service credits are available within 14 days of purchase only. After this period, all sales are considered final, and no refunds will be issued.
4. Non-Transferable
Credits are non-transferable and must be used by the individual who purchased them, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Booking & Availability
Appointments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. We recommend booking early to ensure your preferred time.
6. Cancellations & No-Shows
Our standard cancellation policy applies to bookings made with service credits. Cancellations made with insufficient notice may result in the credit being forfeited.
Memberships
Please see specific terms on your individual membership for any further exclusions or benefits.
Packages or Special offers
Our 3 Float package sessions can be shared with Friends or Family members.
We will from time to time offer special packages which may have different terms and conditions.
Black Friday Offer – Terms & Conditions
1. Validity

All three sessions must be used by 31 May 2026.

Any unused sessions will be automatically removed from the system after this date.

No extensions can be granted.
2. Session Type

This package includes three 45-minute sessions.

Sessions may be used for Float or Fire & Ice, in any combination.
3. Non-Shareable

All three sessions are assigned to one individual only.

Credits cannot be shared, transferred, or split between multiple people.
4. Non-Refundable

This Black Friday offer is non-refundable once purchased.

No partial refunds will be issued for unused sessions.
5. Limited Offer

This package is available for one day only on Black Friday.

Float Scotland reserves the right to withdraw or amend the offer at any time before sale.
6. Booking

Advance booking is required and subject to availability.

Standard centre rules and safety requirements apply.
Jan sale T's and C's
Credits must be used by 31.06.25. The system will automatically delete any unused sessions.
This limited package offer is non refundable and cannot be shared with friends and family.
Therapy room for Massage has limited availability subject to change.

45 minute float only. 6 months expiry from date of purchase.
Health & Medical Guidance
Some medical conditions may not be suitable for floatation therapy.
If you are currently under medical care, undergoing treatment (including cancer treatment), or taking medication, you must seek advice from your GP or relevant medical professional before attending.
Float Scotland does not provide medical advice and participation is at your own discretion following appropriate guidance.
Waiver & Health Declaration
By proceeding with your booking and attending your session at Float Scotland, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following:
Health & Medical Responsibility
Floatation therapy is safe for most people; however, certain medical conditions may require prior approval.
If you are currently under medical care, undergoing treatment (including cancer treatment), taking medication, or have any health concerns, you must seek advice from your GP or appropriate medical professional before attending.
Float Scotland does not provide medical advice, and participation is entirely at your own risk following appropriate guidance.
Conditions Where You Must Not Use the Float Pod
You must not use the float pod if:

You have any communicable or infectious illness or disease

You have open wounds, skin conditions, or infections
-
You are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
-
You are taking strong sedatives or have conditions such as schizophrenia
-
You have epilepsy, diabetes, kidney failure, or heart conditions without prior medical approval
-
You have had hair dyed within the last 7 days where colour may still run
-
You are unable to maintain personal hygiene standards within the pod
Additional Health & Safety Requirements

Appropriate sanitary protection must be used during menstruation

Jewellery, oils, lotions, and creams must not be worn in the float pod
-
You must shower thoroughly before entering the pod
Chemical Awareness
Float pods contain high concentrations of Epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) and sanitising agents such as hydrogen peroxide.
While rare, some individuals may experience skin irritation or sensitivity.
Liability Waiver
By attending your session, you acknowledge and accept that:

You are voluntarily participating in floatation therapy

You have taken responsibility for assessing your own suitability to participate

Float Scotland, its employees and representatives are not liable for any injury, reaction, loss or damage arising from your use of the facilities, except where required by law
Pod Care & Damage
You agree to respect the facilities and follow all guidance provided.
A charge of £750 will be applied in the event of contamination of the float pod (including but not limited to hair dye, bodily fluids, or other substances), to cover cleaning, downtime, and refilling.
Personal Responsibility
You accept full responsibility for your actions, behaviour, and decisions while using the float pod and within the centre.
Agreement
By completing your booking and attending your session, you confirm that:

Complaints Procedure
If you wish to make a complaint or even just provide feedback about your experience please speak to a member of staff after your session.
If you do not feel comfortable speaking to a member of staff onsite or are not satisfied with the response and would like to discuss your concern further please do so in writing to our Manager by emailing info@floatscotland.co.uk.
